Plains Land Bank joins agricultural organizations across the country in supporting the advancement of an updated Farm Bill that reflects today’s agricultural landscape. A letter led by the Farm Credit Council, representing hundreds of agricultural organizations across all 50 states, urges swift action to move the legislation forward.
While agriculture and rural communities have changed significantly in recent years, farmers, ranchers, and agribusinesses are still operating under policies that were established in 2018. “The passing of a new, bipartisan farm bill would provide stability in a rapidly evolving agriculture economy,” said Kay Lynn McLaughlin, CEO of Plains Land Bank.
Plains Land Bank remains committed to supporting agriculture and rural communities across the Texas Panhandle and South Plains through reliable credit and a cooperative model built around our stockholders.
