When you stop by the Plains Land Bank office in Plainview, you’ll meet two passionate and experienced loan officers dedicated to serving the agricultural community: Dalton Needham and Travis Parker. Together, they bring a wealth of knowledge and a shared commitment to helping customers in Hale, Briscoe, Floyd, Hall, and Motley Counties achieve their goals.
Dalton Needham
In January 2023, Dalton joined Plains Land Bank, bringing two years of experience as a loan officer at a commercial bank. To Dalton, Plains Land Bank “felt like a way to directly help farmers in our area. I really liked that there are only 50 or so employees, which allows you to get to know everyone you work with.”
Dalton’s passion for agriculture was sparked by his experiences showing pigs in school. “I had an AG teacher who told me I was showing and did not have a choice. Little did I know this would change my life forever,” said Dalton.
From an early age, Dalton realized the agriculture community was something he wanted to be a part of. “You will not find better people anywhere else,” said Dalton. I was instantly attracted to the hard-working mentality and overall care for not only others but for the land and livestock they tended to.”
Dalton’s approach to his work is deeply rooted in a desire to give back. “A lot of people in the industry helped me get to where I am now, and it’s only right to give that back and help make a difference in their lives as well,” he said.
Customers experience that mindset when Dalton greets them with a solid handshake and a desire to help. His commitment extends beyond the office, too. “I enjoy helping families with their show pig projects and going to various pig shows and sales, and I am sure if anyone asked, I wouldn’t mind jumping on a tractor to help in any way possible.”
Now, that is a true partner—and one that Plains Land Bank is proud to have serving at the Plainview office. He embodies the spirit of Plains Land Bank, putting customers first for the sake of the entire ag community.
Travis Parker

Travis has been with Plains Land Bank for four years, currently serving as Branch President, and values the close-knit team atmosphere. “I like the small team that makes you feel like you are part of the team from day one,” he said. For Travis, focusing on real estate loans allows him to meet the needs of his customers. “Every customer and loan is different,” he explained. “I enjoy tailoring a loan to what works best for the customer.”
